DESCRIPTION
The sleeve labelling machine SSLM-2 applies shrink sleeve labels to bottles, jars, and containers, providing a versatile solution for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries. It handles both full and partial label coverage, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted design around the packaging. In addition to product labelling, it can apply tamper-evident shrink seals around bottlenecks to enhance product security.
Bottles move along the conveyor towards the application area, where a sensor detects each one. The servo-driven rollers unwind and dispense the exact sleeve length needed. A high-precision servo knife cuts the sleeve into individual labels, which drop onto the bottles.
After label application, the bottles move through the hot air or steam tunnel, where controlled heat shrinks the sleeve tightly around the surface. This ensures a form-fitting application with strong adhesion, meeting various packaging requirements.
The built-in PLC and touch screen panel provide intuitive controls, allow fast recipe selection, and support a self-diagnostics system for efficient operation and maintenance. With a capacity of 250 units per minute, the SSLM-2 suits medium-scale manufacturers looking to increase output.
