DESCRIPTION
The roll-fed labelling machine RFLM-1 applies plastic labels at speeds of up to 100 bottles per minute, making it an ideal solution for the dairy and beverage industries. This machine works with PET and HDPE bottles, making it a great fit for these sectors. It ensures precise wrap-around application of plastic film labels, such as BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene), while minimising material waste.
The machine feeds a continuous roll of BOPP labels through a tension control system, keeping movement smooth and steady. A rotary cutting drum trims each label to size before the vacuum application drum picks it up. The glue drum spreads a thin layer of hot-melt adhesive on the leading and trailing label edges, ensuring a secure bond.
As bottles move along the indexing table, they press against the application drum and rotate while travelling around the table. This motion wraps the label smoothly around the surface. Compression rollers or brushes then press it firmly in place, creating a seamless, wrinkle-free finish suitable for both refrigerated and ambient storage.
Operators control the machine through an intuitive PLC system and touchscreen interface, making it easy to adjust settings and monitor performance in real time. The roll-fed labelling machine RFLM-1 provides a fast, reliable, and cost-effective labelling solution for dairy and beverage manufacturers looking to improve efficiency and enhance product presentation.
