The journey of a PET bottle starts with the production of PET preforms. Injection moulding is a PET preform-creating process. It includes PET resin melting and injecting into a mould cavity to form the preform shape.
The next step in the PET bottle production line is stretch blow moulding. The preforms are heated and placed in a stretch blow moulding machine, blowing them into the final bottle shape using high-pressure air. This process allows the preforms to take on the desired bottle shape and size while providing the bottles with the necessary strength and durability.
Formed PET bottles require packaging and preparation for distribution, usually in cardboard boxes or on pallets.
